Philanthropy – We donate and fundraise for numerous organizations including Surfaid, Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions, RNDM Myanmar, Love your Sister, Canteen, Australian Marine Conservation Society, The Ocean Cleanup Foundation.
The Australian Marine Conservation Society is Australia’s only national charity dedicated solely to protecting our precious ocean wildlife – a community of ocean lovers across the nation working for healthy seas.
The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing advanced technologies to rid the oceans of plastic.
SurfAid’s mission is to improve the lives of women and children in remote areas connected through surfing.
Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions are a global organisation providing support through education, health and community support in the poorest communities in the world.
Annie travelled to Myanmar in 2018 and spent time with the beautiful Sisters of the Missions, who have given their lives to improving the lives of those less fortunate and forgotten. She could not help but be inspired by these ladies risking their lives working in some of the poorest, politically unstable, and violent countries in the world.
Participation – We participate in Clean up Australia days and Take Three for the Sea.
Paper Free – We are particularly focused on the preservation of our environment and are almost wholly paper free and dedicated to reducing waste contribution.
Low carbon foot-print – Although we love nothing better to meet up with our clients face-to-face we try as much as possible to utilise technology to obtain documents and confirm identifications. We know how busy our clients are and this not only reduces our carbon foot-print but saves clients time.
Socially Responsible Lenders - We promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) by giving borrowers the opportunity to obtain finance from customer-owned and socially responsible lenders and have a panel to choose from.
Blue Oceans Finance acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
